Nice to meet you!

Let me tell you a little bit more about myself. You've already read all about my amazing services and now I'd like you to get to know me better!

I live in San Diego and moved here from Boston, Massachusetts. While in Boston, I worked as a psychometrician assessing clients' cognitive abilities at Beth Israel Hospital. Previously, I worked as a tutor predominantly with children having special needs.

After working at Beth Israel for two years, I began to think that something was missing. My work did not feel complete. After much self-exploration, I found that I missed being active in the process of watching a child flourish by achieving their goals. In that moment, I decided to integrate my abilities to provide students with an understanding and knowledgeable educator.

My exceptional training at Beth Israel has left me with a keen eye for observing individuals' strengths, as well as areas that need improvement. By integrating my careers I am able to understand how a person cognitively functions, as well as how to apply that information to a teaching setting. Having this varied background in education and neuropsychology makes me an amazing force in your child's life!

Today, I am proud to annouce Innovations Academy, a charter school that I am founding, which will open in September of 2008! It’s a life changing project and I’m thrilled to be a part of it.

When I am not enhancing the life of a child, I enjoy reading, playing various woodwind instruments & guitar, inventing new recipes, working on art projects, playing card games (such as Set), running around the San Diego Zoo, swing dancing, bending over backwards in yoga, and spending time with my loved ones.
